Nice to meet you!  I’m Angela Sackett: a foodie, a lover of words (written, spoken, and sung), and I’m passionate about inspiring women through those words and through images created to tell the story of Truth.  As a full-time ministry wife and home educator, my “sharp edge” is constantly being refined as a more useful tool of grace in the hands of my Papa.  I want nothing more than to have my feet on the ground and my eyes on the sky, being fully and intentionally in the moment with my family and friends, but anticipating the things God has for me next.

At Dancing With My Father, I share the thoughts on my heart, encouraging you with ideas for enriching your life, your family, and your home.  I long to encourage others to enjoy “the Dance,” too.

Angela, thank you so much for your sweet words! I have totally stocked your blog haha. You and your family are so gorgeous and I can’t wait to read more. I am always looking for women bloggers who can inspire me to be a better wife/mom and I think that is you! You have 5 kids, you cook, you home school and express your love for God all of which I admire. Although I will be the first to admit one of my not so great qualities is that I am a terrible cook. I really can’t seem to enjoy it, but being honest I haven’t really tried. My husband is great which is why I believe I haven’t had to learn (married at 21). But your pictures and receipts look so amazingly tasty and visually appealing. Maybe if I read and see enough it will somehow get me try xx

Lynn – you make me giggle! You’re a blessed girl, indeed, with your cookin’ hubby. Mine is a great cook when he goes at it, but he’s good for using lots of ingredients I’m trying to avoid about the time he decides to cook with them. I am so excited to connect with a new “blog sister,” and I look forward to seeing how God uses it to encourage us and maybe some other women around us. Wahooo!!!

Hannah, I LOVED it! I’m very choosy about what I pass on to my kids to read, and I’m delighted to have a quality book for my fifteen year old daughter to read that’s exemplary of godly womanly character. I’d love to interview you for my blog if you’re interested. 🙂

Fine. You’ll have to let me know what you want as I’ve never done a blog interview before!
