care and keeping of a soul {five on friday}

keep…

keep your eyes open, little one.  keep your heart tender.  keep your mind set on Me.  keep walking when the walking disintegrates into crawling, and keep crawling, still.  once you have grown through your struggle, i will lift you up.

keep believing I AM who i say that I AM.  and that you are who I SAY that you are.  keep listening for the whisper, the still small VOICE that calls you by name and calls you beautiful and calls you Mine.

keep your loved ones close, and keep your enemies closer.  better yet, keep your self focused on love toward those who would be your enemies.  except the Enemy of your heart.  him, you fight with all your might, because you are a WARRIOR girl and I have called you to claim the life that is yours by birthright.

keep your opinions to yourself more than you’d like, and keep your mind active, ever-growing wiser, which only comes from studying the One who is Wisdom.

keep a lid on your desires (and better yet, let me give you the desires best for you), and keep your heart tender when it could so easily falter and become a rock.

keep your words kind, your hands busy, and your soul still.  and above all,

keep yourself for me, and give My love to the world.

this is the care and keeping of a soul.
