I agree, Esther. I was talking with a friend yesterday about the struggle for balance – how we so tend to make either “us” or our “callings” into little idols, and how God left us that tension, I think, to draw us to depend on Him ever more… I love your call to women to focus on growing and caring for themselves, and to use that growth to love on the people God places in their lives. 🙂

It is so important to care for our bodies & our souls. I think there is a very strong connection between the two. The part that I am working on rebuilding right now is my healthy eating habits. I got a little off track during the holidays, so I’m cutting out sugar for a set time period, which is hard for me (I love chocolate!).

Hope your group goes amazing! Sounds like a great ministry.
